An eagerly anticipated affair on the international yachting calendar, the Antigua Yacht Charter Show – the Caribbean’s most influential yachting event – is going from strength to strength. Showcasing the world’s finest yachts for charter in one spectacular destination, the Antigua Yacht Charter Show 2016 marks the event’s 55th edition and will this year run from December 4th–10th.
The show takes place across three venues, each of which is a staple of most Caribbean yachting itineraries: Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English Harbour, Falmouth Harbour Marina, and Antigua Yacht Club Marina in Falmouth Harbour.
Dedicated to charter yachts, the Antigua Yacht Charter Show is an opportunity for Brokers to familiarise themselves with the finest available charter vessels for the upcoming winter charter season. Descending on the popular Caribbean island from around the globe, the brokers are invited on day sails, viewings, lunches and evening soirées to experience each yacht first hand. Having met crews and admired the unique features of each yacht, they can then return to their clients equipped with tailored recommendations based on first-hand knowledge.
Over 80 sailing and motor yachts will be on display, each of which is available for a Caribbean charter. Fraser Yachts, the world’s leading luxury yacht brokerage, has announced the attendance of three stunning charter vessels: S/Y ANTARA, M/Y BACCHUS and S/Y TOTO.
A beautiful 46m sailing yacht from the iconic Italian shipbuilders Perini Navi, S/Y ANTARA epitomises luxury on the sea. The superyacht was built in 1991 but has been impeccably maintained, with her most recent refit taking place this year. Special features include an extended fly bridge with Jacuzzi, an aft swim platform and a state-of-the-art entertainment system. With the capacity to accommodate 10 guests in four staterooms, the yacht offers an appealing opportunity for guests to cruise the Caribbean in style this festive season.
For charter guests who prefer the spacious luxury of a motor yacht, M/Y BACCHUS offers an indulgent choice. This 44.5m Trinity yacht for charter was built in 2005 and has also undergone a refit in 2016. Lavishly decorated throughout, from crystal chandeliers in the formal dining room to a grand piano in the salon, she also boasts an array of fun watertoys for more informal entertainment. The yacht to impress over the New Year in the Caribbean, she can accommodate 12 guests in five stunning staterooms.
Built by Palmer Johnson, S/Y TOTO is a 33.53m yacht of exceptional pedigree. With the comfort of a modern day motor yacht and excellent performance, she is at home in both the shallow waters of the Caribbean and on a trans-Atlantic crossing. S/Y TOTO has a modern and spacious interior that accommodates up to eight guests in four staterooms. Her special features include an outdoor cinema on the aft deck for a unique movie night under the stars.
