Duke & Dexter is a British born footwear label, launched by Archie Hewlett when he was only 19. Now three years old, Duke & Dexter specialises in premium shoes for those who appreciate modern, functional and spirited apparel. Designed in London and handcrafted in England, we choose to innovate the conventional whilst working off traditional styles, through offering an array of colours, textures, prints and motifs, while never faltering on exceptional comfort to accommodate a contemporary lifestyle. We are hugely fortunate to have a credible celebrity client base, including the likes of Jonah Hill, Ryan Reynolds, Eddie Redmayne, Poppy Delevingne, Tinie Tempah and Tyson Beckford, who over the years have helped cement Duke & Dexter’s position as a leading footwear brand.

Located on Earlham Street, Seven Dials, the choice to open in Covent Garden perfectly mirrors our ethos, due to its international footfall and quintessentially British history. The store itself showcases our latest collections, alongside in-store exclusives. Designed by our in-house team, it incorporates a minimalist approach, allowing the variations in materials, colours, prints and motifs to speak for themselves. The rear of the store features a lounge area and coffee bar, where customers can relax and enjoy a complimentary coffee. The space also includes a wall montage, highlighting the brands journey, from campaigns to celebrity clients, including Eddie Redmayne who famously wore a pair when accepting his Oscar Award in 2015.
The store also features its very own Bespoke Bar, where customers will be able to design a completely personalised pair, with the help of our team. Choosing from a swatch book, they are able to choose upper and trim colours, alongside the option to initial or motif product.

Wanting to support the masterful techniques dedicated to British craftsmanship, each Duke & Dexter shoe is handmade in Sheffield, England. Over 80 years old, the family run factory prides itself on combining deep-rooted skills with precision and care, to ensure all products are crafted to the highest standard. Choosing to revitalise historical English expertise, we sought to build upon incomparable quality and style, whilst durable construction remains at the brands core. From designing our distinct deep peaks to the finishing stitch on each product, we seek to combine British charm and talent with global inspiration to promote bold, personal collections.

On top of our standard service, we are also able to offer the option to completely personalise designs as seen below. Pricing is subject to the amount of detailing. A member of our team will mock-up the artwork for the client and after confirmation, they will go into production.

Through looking at a diverse group, who, together provide an insight into the life and style of modern living. Showcasing fresh talent, each FACE revealed themselves through their attire and individuality, reflecting the ethos of Duke & Dexter. We selected a list of inspirational and charismatic professionals, all of which possessed intriguing and varying characteristics that strayed from conventionality. To celebrate the authenticity of confidence through apparel, each FACE demonstrated who they were, supported by our expressive collection of footwear.
